Cheap, efficient public transport.
Electrical wiring that would be subject to court orders anywhere else.
Everything works, but only as much as it needs to.
Hondas for everything.
Inappropriate use of decorative lighting.

Traditional Thai Massage.
Pickups for when the Hondas don’t cut it.
People who smile, all of the time.
Sanuk. The concept of having fun in everything you do, practiced as a national way of life.
